When you start to walk the way, the way appears

  • A little introduction
I’m Maria from a gorgeous town called Newcastle in County Down. I am a dog mum to the best little man Clarence pictured above, he has taught me a lot in my life over the last nearly 4 years and i count my blessings everyday to wake up to his face. A little story time about Clarence, i also love olympic weightlifting and followed a well known weightlifter clarence kennedy, i would watch his videos on youtube for some inspiration and hype before going to the gym to lift heavy weights and when i went to visit the house where i got clarence, the man intRoduced the dogs one by one, and said “this is clarence”. i remember saying you are joking and he just looked at me thinking what?! it was all just meant to be! 🙂

My background is in Human Resources, where I have loved working, supporting, empowering & building relationships with people. Working in HR is very fast paced, you are juggling lots of different plates & facing many challenges daily. i love helping people, and seeing people overcome challenges and the confidence this brings. sometimes all you need is a chat or a little help along the way.

From the age of 16/17 I found the gym, and it became a daily non negotiable for me. Movement has helped me in so many ways and it transfers into your daily life through work, relationships & without a doubt the impact it has on our physical and mental health. As we all do at some stage in our lives, I faced some challenges in life but I always found that movement, my faith, trust & mindset helped me work through any uncertain step that I have faced in life. Throughout my adult years I have always stepped into yoga here & there, I had a calling to yoga during an uncertain period of my life and I want to share how the way of living yoga has guided me through life and the benefits of yoga that we can all implement into our daily lives. yoga reminds and connects me with my granda, my granda was a very faithful man and he inspired me in many ways because of this. he was a content and peaceful man.

I hope to help empower anyone I encounter in life to feel better in themselves, see the beauty in waking up every day, and recognise that our souls and bodies are already complete. There is real beauty in the simplicity of daily life, along with how powerful it is to connect our body and mind through movement and breath <3
